The project came unexpectedly, and the design and construction time were quite comfortable. The homeowner is a young woman, but the initial brief was for a Heavy Wabisabi or industrial style. However, after the moodboard concept phase, things seemed to get out of hand when we received a message from the homeowner: 'Don't design it to feel like apartment for a single man, okay?' =)) Everything started to feel a bit stuck. Fortunately, the 'amateur designer' Tường Vi Nguyễn lent a hand to bring some "femininity" into the design. And luckily, recalling the movie The Queen's Gambit also helped to provide some inspiration for a design style that wasn't really my taste.
